When you are deciding where to board your alpacas, there is no place like ACE IN THE HOLE ALPACA ranch.
Located in Hempstead, Texas we are 45 min's out of Houston, and 45 minutes from College Station. We have a 20 acre horse facility, that we converted to an alpaca ranch. Our barns have porta cool fans, and many oscillating fans that allow the alpcas to keep cool in the summer months and provide shelter during the rainy months. All of our alpacas have access to covered shelter and plenty of lush coastal hay pastures. They even get water play 4 times a day, during the summer.

From stud service with the nation's top sires to alpaca herd consultations and evaluations, we provide a wide range of services to our clients. We can work with you from beginning to end. Our breeding program began with and continues to build upon excellence. Maintaining a high level of integrity, we have selected and continue to select for the finest traits an alpaca can offer. Each alpaca can be improved upon with the next mating. It is just as important to pick an excellent herdsire as it is to have a great foundation female. Here at Ace In The Hole, we selected each of our matings to produce high quality genetics and the result was rich color and fine fiber.

We offer agistment services for the following:

Regular boarding services: $2.00 a day.
                    (which includes daily behavioral observation, feeding, and hay, toe nail trimming)

General herd health will be administered every 30 days, or as needed. for an additional charge.

Stud services: include:

10 day live birth guarantee
60 days of free board for mom (and if needed cria at side)
Progesterone and ultrasound to confirm pregnancy.
     (administered by licensed veterinarian)
60 day free routine veterinary care (deworming, toe nail trim) for mom and cria at side.
In depth breeding records with behavior and time indications.
Consultation to increase and maximize your females' breeding potential.
